Are you a fashion enthusiast? If the answer is yes you shouldn’t miss this exposition. Brooklyn Museum is displaying an exceptional representation of all types of high heels.

The exhibition takes us through the different heels, from stilettos to pumps to platforms, as far as the Ancient Chinese to the most extravagant and daring worn by Lady Gaga in one of her performances.  In total,  160 historical and contemporary shoes adorn the showcases of the Brooklyn Museum as pieces of art.  The veritable plethora of high-heeled designs reflect a broad range of international tastes and artistic values.

The exhibition also has six short films about high heels. If you take a moment to watch the videos you will notice that these shoes that only seem to be used for an exposition once a lady covered her feet with them.
